Providing Quality Help To Those In Need

Project Opportunities

Throughout Jacksonville and the northeast Florida area we have encountered many who need food, water, and clothing: to just be seen and recognized as children of God. Many are homeless, hungry; broken. We endeavor to see them and not turn away; to meet them where they are… just as Christ met us. We realize that this is a growing population in our world and believe our mission encompasses all in need, but our focus is on the children.

Children’s Program

Currently our team has partnered with churches and businesses to reach communities in feeding children weekly. Our vision is to grow this ministerial opportunity exponentially throughout North East Florida by means of a food truck/food bank ministry, providing both a mobile outreach and an anchored location to provide stability to those in need.

  • Feeding/Food Truck

We are currently investigating state of Florida regulations and searching for either an established truck or a truck that can be custom outfitted for food delivery and ministry. The truck we envision would be easily recognizable as it would have the Trinity Foundation logo as well as our partners logos. It would be setup not only to minister to the underserved by dispensing food and beverages but through music, entertainment (puppet shows, bible stories), and fellowship. The food truck could also be used for fundraising at food truck events with a portion of the proceeds going to fund to feeding program. It could also be used for emergency response during natural disasters when needed or as a delivery mechanism for food bank activities.

  • Food Bank

A fixed site is required to provide storage, inventory, mission preparation and as a walk-up location for the local area in need. This location would provide a physical location for social connection and function as an outlet for those experiencing isolation and distress in the community.

  • Christmas Celebration

Our children’s Christmas event that delivers Christmas gifts and food. In 2022 we hope to create a holiday atmosphere complete with Christmas carols, traditional goodies and a story time, telling of Jesus’ birth.

  • Back-to-School

We are currently in the planning stages of a Back-to-School event consisting of a carnival-type activity with food, music, face painting and bounce-houses. During the event each school-age child would receive a back-to-school outfit and haircut, if desired.

Clothing Program

In our ventures into the local neighborhoods, we have had the opportunity to witness the children’s need for shoes, jackets, and the like, as well as the need for basic hygiene products/comforts of the growing homeless population. To provide these necessities throughout our neighborhoods and encampments, we envision an inventory distribution center capable of gearing up for mobile delivery and providing for walk-up service. This location could co-exist within the food bank, acting as a “one-stop shop”.

Veteran Outreach

At Trinity Foundation, we are eternally grateful for those who have stood in the gap for our freedom and are determined to assist our Veterans in any capacity that we are able. We recognize that a growing number in our homeless communities are Veterans, and we wish to honor them for their service. In addition to meeting their physical needs, we are resolute in our mission to assist them in discovering and applying for any available benefits due them. In partnering with various Veteran-friendly entities we strive to ensure that every Veteran has a place of stability and the proper medical and financial assistance.

Homeless Outreach

By utilizing our Feeding, Clothing, and Veterans’ Programs, we intend to aid and minister to our local homeless communities. We envision weekly food and ministry opportunities much like the children’s feeding program currently underway. We also anticipate joint ventures with other non-profits to meet the needs of this growing community. We would also like to explore cooperative ventures within the community itself, creating opportunities for participation in future Foundation programs like Adopt-a-Neighbor/Adopt-a-Block.
